Industrial Park Base Camp

Odin developed a 60-acre site in preparation to house 1,500 construction workers dedicated to cleaning up the destruction caused by the Camp Fire in Paradise, CA. Odin battled harsh weather conditions, but developed this small city in three months. To level the property Odin used heavy equipment to move over 50,000 CY of material, import and place over 40,000 tons of aggregate base, and construct several new asphalt roads. Odin installed all the underground infrastructure (power/water/sewer/storm) and constructed a temporary wastewater treatment plant, which included 18 sewage lift stations. Odin constructed 34 housing units, two 3,000 SF recreation rooms, a 9,000 SF kitchen/dinning facility, and an administrative office/store. Odin managed the camp, employing parking attendants, security, emergency medical technicians, housekeeping, janitorial, maintenance, and IT Services. The camp successfully housed and fed the intended number of construction workers supporting the vital operation of cleaning up the city of Paradise.
